I bought this dress to wear at my son's wedding. I was skeptical of the quality for the price but decided to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened and saw a well-made dress. The color was a beautiful green which made the white lace really pop. It was actually quite heavy and well lined. Unfortunately, the tightest area is around the middle of the ribs and it was too tight for me. The next size up would have resulted in the bust being too large, so it just wasn't the right cut for my shape so I returned it. I was also concerned that as heavy as the dress is it would be too hot for an August wedding. This would make a beautiful MOB or MOG dress however for a fall or spring wedding.The fit wasn't correct for my body even though the dress was perfectly made. Return was fast and easy. Would do business with this seller again.I purchased this dress in mint green for my daughter's outdoor wedding. I must admit that I was a bit skeptical to order a mother of the bride gown on-line in spite of the favorable reviews and photos posted on Amazon. The gown arrived in about four weeks and was absolutely beautiful in every way. I received so many compliments from friends and family and, most importantly, the bride. The only problem I had was in deciding from the large variety of amazing colors to choose from. The dress is well made, flowing, elegant and comfortable. I would definitely advise buying it in one size larger as most of the reviews recommend and being cautious when zipping it up as it is a hidden zipper that could catch on the fabric.It fit very small. Wanted to order the next size up but it was out of stock. I was super bummed!What a beautiful dress. It was "me." I ordered this dress for my daughter's August wedding. First of all, let me say, this dress is even more beautiful in person. When I opened the package, it was like a Cinderella moment! The dress was exquisite. The top was a glorious white. The quality was absolutely perfect. I fell in love immediately. I read the reviews and knew to order a size up. I normally wear a 10, so I ordered a 12. It was too small. I was heartbroken. Apparently I had gained weight and should have ordered a 14. NOT the sellers fault. Pay the extra and have it tailored. I so wish I had done this. I was so disappointed I couldn’t wear the PERFECT mother of the bride dress to my daughters wedding. It’s been three weeks and I’m still so disappointed I was not able to wear it. Absolutely gorgeous dress. The seller has approved my return, but unfortunately I cannot go back in time and have it tailored. I bought three other dresses and none of them came close to the beauty of this dress. I have another daughter and when she gets married, I’ll know better.This was a custom order and I didn't know how well it would work. Well, I received the dress today and it fits just perfectly. The lace is good quality, not too flimsy and the weight of the black material is just right. Hangs well. Very pleased with the service and quality.Beautiful dress. Fits as expected.
